My goal is to assist students in achieving success in academic, career, personal and social areas. This is accomplished through a variety of methods, including:

-         Individual and Group Counseling

-Divorce and separation

-Death in the family

-School-related anxiety/stress

-Social Skills

-Anger /Depression issues

-Self-confidence issues

-         Classroom Presentations

-         Crisis Counseling and Peer Mediation

-         Referrals to Outside Agencies

When working with students, I employ a positive approach, helping students to identify the strengths they already possess. I utilize student strengths to set goals and assist the student in developing assets identified by the New York State Research Institute to help young people grow up healthy, caring, and responsible.
