Mrs. Amanda Moore
My name is Amanda Moore and I've been teaching at the Waterloo High School since 2008. I am currently teaching regents level earth science, however, I have taught regents living environment, extended living environment, and environmental science in the past.
I live in Geneva with my husband of 13 years and our 4 year old son Collin. We have 3 crazy dogs and enjoy spending time in the Adirondacks camping or out in the great wide open of Wyoming. This summer I was able to visit one of the places I've always wanted to travel to, Paris, France! This trip was in preparation for a trip that I am taking next summer with some of my former students to Iceland.
I started teaching 16 years ago in a pre-school classroom and quickly realized that I wanted to work with older children and teens, not that I didn't love the little guys I just knew it wasn't for me. I truly love what I do and hope that my experiences help my students explore science and find a passion of their own.
