Bailey’s Boutique, a free student store in Waterloo High School was one of eight charities supported by Wegmans Lights on the Lake over the holiday season.

Proceeds from the cars that visited Lights on the Lake on Jan. 11 were donated to Bailey’s Boutique. Bailey’s advisers Kris McGuane and Kim Lucas and 10 students who intern at Bailey’s traveled to Syracuse on Jan. 29 and were presented with a check for $1,697 for Bailey’s.

Founded in 2021, Bailey’s provides food, clothing and other essential items free of charge to students. The boutique regularly serves more than 1,000 students per month.
