Congratulations to Cayden Troup and Trevor Trumble for being named student-athletes of the month for September 2025.

Cayden is a senior on the Waterloo Varsity Golf Team, a team that finished 13-2 overall and was named a co-champion of the Finger Lakes East league. Cayden played a crucial role in the team's success, finishing with a season average of 38.5 and a handicap index of 4.1. He has demonstrated the leadership qualities expected of a senior athlete. 

Trevor is a sophomore on the Waterloo Varsity Cross Country Team who has made great strides this season. He has finished in the top five in every league race this season, and improved his times by almost two minutes from last season. In addition to his top finishes, Trevor has demonstrated great character and leadership, taking new runners under his wing and cheering his teammates and other runners on even after finishing.
